Appendix B:
Frequently Asked Questions |
This book presents a large number of techniques for calling API functions from Visual Basic. But because of the nature of the book, these techniques are scattered among the different puzzles and tutorials. It occurred to me that it would be helpful to provide a cross-reference to help readers find all of the places where particular techniques are covered in the book. |

Like most technical books, this one contains an index to help you find information on subjects of interest. But indexes are really nothing more than a keyword search system, and anyone who has spent time using a Web search engine knows that keyword searches have their limits. |

This appendix supplements the Index by providing a list of frequently asked questions that are, in effect, a directory of API techniques that are organized into categories. |

This appendix contains documentation for apigid32.dll, a dynamic link library included with this book that contains functions useful for working with API functions from Visual Basic. The source code for this DLL is provided for those interested in writing C++ DLLs for use with Visual Basic. |
